putting g3400 hercules into cockshutt 40

I'm considering upgrading the 262 in my cockshutt with a Hercules g3400. Anyone have any words of wisdom, info on any additional work/parts required to install it, or cautionary tales? Thanks for any help

Cockshutt 35 engine plate and flywheel, I used the 40 clutch. The
input shaft of the trans needs to be shortened or modify the flywheel
some and I took the pto hub and shaft out. The pilot bearings are
different between the 40 and 35 I used the 40 bearing and had the
flywheel machined where the pto hub went to let the pilot bearing go
further in. Front motor mount needs to be made on a 40 tub,different
starter needed also. Most of the 3400 engines were power units and you
will want to find a water pump off a 35 or 550 to use the fan, and the
power unit water pump is too much capacity for the radiator.
