Hi folks, in the earley 1940s we had a few Oliver 70 tractors sent here in the UK. Am I right in thinking the 6 cyl engines in these tractors were mane by Continental. MJ

The 70s I have had are continentals.

if i remember right it was a G6202 continental engine , but Oliver will say it was there engine, so would continental if you told them it was in an Oliver

Wasn't there 2 versions of those Contential engines 3 timing gear and the 5 timing gear models. Weren't the distributors or magnetos on different side of the engines??.
