I have been trying to buy this late super 88 diesel. He has all the tin and keeps it inside. He said it lost his prime. He put an electric pump on it but couldn't get it to prime. I talk to him for quite awhile and he seemed very honest. What do you all think it's worth?

What do you mean it lost its prime? Has the tractor set? If so how long?

I have no idea how it lost its prime or how long it's been sitting. He did not say and is not easy to get ahold of. I left my number on his door today. If he calls I will need to have an offer ready.

Don't try to start it! If someone has tried they may have broken the plunger in the injection pump! New ones are NLA so used ones are expensive! Try the screw driver test first!

I have no way of stopping him unless he calls. Never have done the screw driver test. Plunger may already be broke.
