Cockshutt 580

Did anybody see the Cockshutt 580 on the photo ads? My book says they only made 3 of them and only 1 survived. Maybe its a clone? If its the real thing the $25000 price is a steal!

I saw it and I really don't know who owns the 1 original 580 now. Here is a picture of the real deal. I can't say if this is the one for sale. Maybe Phil, Irv or some of the other collectors can tell us for sure.

John Roop and a couple more guys in Maryland did own the 580 last I heard,there have been a couple clones built out of 570's by collectors.

Appears to be a clone. And seller appears to be a tool. "Rebuilted"- really?

I built my own 580 with a turbo really wish that
cockshutt could have gotten that one into full
production it took some work but it's use is great I
still use it on the farm and tractor pull with it
