had to destroy the u-bolts on my 1855 to get the hubs off axle , dia. of my bolts is 13/16 , cant find any new ones , local spring co. can make them but they'll be 3/4 inch ,not 13/16 dia. like originals. has anyone els had this problem & do you all think that the 3/4 u-bolt will work ok ? this tractor will have duals on it from time to time too , more for show then work but if i need to work this tractor in the field i want know i wont get killed from hub coming off axle . a set of duals rolling down a hill isnt something i even want to think about.
