Oliver Disc Brake Actuator Interchangeability

I'm replacing the brakes on a 770. The guy who owned the tractor before me destroyed the threads on the piece of the actuator assembly which sticks out the bottom of the tractor and has the adjustment nut on it (PN 1K2615). I'm searching for a used one and am wondering if the same piece from a 66 or 77 are the same size as the 770. Does anyone know?

I looked at the AGCO drawings and parts lists, but it seems to show band brakes on the 66. Is there a better online resource for finding the parts list for Olivers? (I realize that the sellers I'm talking to may just be misinformed as well)

Also, any general tips or advice regarding doing brakes on a 770 is welcome! :D

Go to Agcopartsbook dot com. Enter as a guest. The 77s had disc brakes from the first one sold as a 52 model. The 66s didn't have them until about mid 52. The 88s started using disc brakes about mid to late 51. I'm not going to guarantee this, but I would think that actuator would be the same on everything from the mid 52 66,on up to the 1650. Check Agco parts book though to be sure. I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks! I'll do some more digging on that site to confirm.

I figured they were probably the same as no manufacturer wants to make any more unique designs than they have to.

Same design, however the actuating rod is on the bottom on the 77 & 88 and on the top on 66.   66 rod is 3/8" and 77 & 88 are 1/2".   66 design allows rain water to get into them where the 77 & 88 drain out the bottom.
