Shop Manuals and specs

I purchased a 1650/1655 shop manual from Floyd County a couple years ago when I got my first 1655. I looked thru it quick when it arrived but never noticed all the pages are marked 1650 shop manual.
While cleaning a different 1655 today I found the head gasket to be leaking compression. Can I still use this manual for the torque specs/sequence?
I do not know much about this new tractor, but the engine has some orange on the front cover, dip stick and a couple injector lines. It does a have a data tag showing it's a 283.

Thanks!

Sounds to me like the Orange is Waukesha paint and a stock Waukesha engine since it has a data tag. Tell us all the numbers off of the tag. While the head is off, see what the valve protrusion/ recession is. Also where is your head gasket leaking? I will send you an e-mail. J.

Thank you J!

Waukesha Dresser
Model: VRD283
Size: 3 7/8 x 4
Spec: G-35441
Serial: 306389
Gov speed: 2200 LD

Injector side of the engine in the area of #3. Before cleaning the grease/oil looked damp, after cleaning and using soapy water it bubbles/pushes air a bit.

It starts unbelievably quick so I'm going to assume things are still decent inside. I will get more info as soon as I get the head off, it might be a few weeks though. Work is picking up again.
