2150 side panels

Here is a picture of the new perforated metal front side panel I made for my 2150. The original ones on these tractors are POS, as being made of to lite of material. The original ones were 18 gauge, I'm using 16 gauge to remake them. Going to remake the other front side panel and both of the long top panels out of 16 gauge too. One of my friends has a 6 ft. brake, so all it costs me is for the material and the spot welder I had to buy.

Larry, how much would you need to do a second set? The ones on my 2150 are basically junk. Let me know if you are interested

Text me your number. Mine is 815-823-6949. To do the long top ones I have to buy a full 5x10 sheet. I can get 2 full sets out of a full sheet. The steel suppliers are really proud of perforated steel sheets.

Larry,

Those panels looks fantastic. Having spent hours with a mig welder and die grinder repairing a set for that last 2150, I sure wish I had done it the smart way like you did! Sheet metal work is just like sheetrock work, it's art and not science, and an artist I am not. She's coming along nicely.

Looks real good Larry. I think steel suppliers are proud of ALL of their stuff. Does your friend with the brake need another friend?---Tee

If your going to set up to make these I would also be very interested in a set. I am also looking for a hood. I will text you tomorrow.
