Hello all,
I just bought an Oliver 770 and am looking for information regarding the top link of the three-point hitch.
There currently is no top link, but there is a hinged U-shaped bar with a hole in the middle of it. My understanding is that there is a special Oliver top link which pins to this bar on one end and resembles a typical top link connection on the other end.
I've done some searching and haven't been able to find one of these for sale. I'm thinking of welding something together myself. Before I set off on that path though, I want to ask a few quick questions.
Are these top links available from somewhere and I'm looking in the wrong place?
Are there simpler solutions which others have come up with?
