Oliver 77 value

What is a 77 with all the tin (only one minor dent on the nose), factory hydraulics, good tires, but smokes. From the looks of the pictures it looks like it has sat cause the thing is covered in green algae. What would cause the it to smoke? Valves, stuck rings or a shot motor?

Gas, Diesel, K-D? What kind of wheels and tire sizes? What about the hydraulics, Group 1, 2 or 3? Do the hydraulics work? Band brakes or disk brakes? You have a serial number?

Probably not a whole lot. Dad bought one last spring from the original owner with nice all original sheetmetal, aside from hood cut for muffler, good tires, hydraulics, runs good, for $925. I bought one a few years ago with very good tires, perfect original sheetmetal, that smoked, for $800. I put in a set of rings and valve guides and did a valve grind on it, then hooked it to a flail chopper to break it in. A friend's dad has it now, he pulls with it occasionally.

Here's some pictures. The guy is asking 1000 ill see if I can get that down to 750-800.

Looks like it has pretty decent metal on it. Also looks like tires are roached and needs seat rebuild/rubbers, good dealing points there.
