cockshutt 20 miss

I have a cockshutt 20 that has a miss when it is at full throttle. It doesn't miss any other time. I have changed the Plugs, wires, cap & rotor. It has pertronix not points. I have replaced the disturber also, because it had a lot of side to side movement. The motor has 150 to 155 lbs. compression. Any help would be good, as I am running out of ideas. Thanks Al

Checked the valve springs? May have one broken that only shows up at a higher engine speed. Worth a look.

If not a valve spring, you might check the valve lift while you are in there.

I had a similar problem with my 20. Almost lost my mind trying to figure it out. It idled perfectly and was O.K. under light load but poor the coal to it and it wouldn't go. Turned out the venturi was upside down in the carburetor. It wasn't drawing fuel at high RPM.
