My friend bought one with very wide axles and I think 4 reverses. Is there anything special about it?

That is what is called a "multiple reverse transmission. Post the serial number and the specification number and a picture and we can tell you more.

Might have been a pea swather back in the day. They operated in reverse. Transported in forward.

the wide axles are what I have not seen. They stick out about a foot past the rim. I think my pics are to large to load.

It is a multiple reverse transmission. They were offered in 2 different speed ratios and this one is the slowest of the 2.

by Morrell there also mentioned. Got some
time on my hands that's an interesting
tractor you have. Google oliver peaharvest
tractor then punch images lots of pics to
go through but there was one of a 550 with
a 3 point harvest on and there is also one
of a 70 oliver with one on the back . I
think those might have come from the toy

My friend got his build code. It has a axle code 17. It doesn't specify what that is though. Does anyone know?

Here's a pic. Needs an engine and other parts still. I think it's a 65.
Axle housing is 25 1/5 and axle protrudes another 22 1/2 for a total of 48.
