Oliver 88 ring gear loose

Working on an Oliver 88 and noticed ring gear is loose on the carrier. What are my options for repair as it is riveted fast now? Like to bolt it fast but clearance is an issue on bull gear side.

In 1960 to solve the problem they came out with special bolts and they were bolted to the carrier after that. The part number for both the long & short bolts have changed and are NLA. Perhaps some one on here has a parts 880 that has the bolts or check with some of the people that part out Olivers. You may also need to ream some of the holes to fit and check the run out on the gear when you do that. My 2 cents worth. J.

Massey Ferguson had the same problem on their 135 and other tractors. They also had a special bolt and nut for this. I have replaced several over the years and are still available. I have no idea if these might work.Good Luck.

Thanks for all the advice and help. Found a 880 parts donor and has the bolts in. Long story short ring and pinion are getting changed as well.
