Other 60 was $1200

Hart-Parr 16-30...$10,000
Hart-Parr 70 Standard...$2800
Hart-Parr 18-27 RC....$1000

Those are decent prices considering what everything else has been doing. Nice to see a more "local" price. That'll help me price my 66 when I sell it here hopefully this winter.

Thanks for the information. What were the conditions of the tractors?
Prices are always lower at the auctions you don't attend. Weather was gorgeous in southwestern PA. Almost finished picking ear corn instead of driving 6 hours one way for that 66. Keep searching, I guess.

Central MI. It is serial no. 9. It has some
funny stuff about it. Funny light brackets,
LH pto lever with cast iron lever. It has
new sleeves and pistons, crank reground,
head redone. I had to put a different block
into it as the original was cracked top to
bottom between one of the cylinder webbings
where the orings set. I rebuilt the belt
pulley, new bearings and seals. All new
trans, axle shaft, brake shaft, pto, engine
main seals. It does not have the louver side
curtains with it, only the rear. It came
from the original owners in the UP as I was
told. Everything is in primer except the
hood, nose, fenders. I had been running it,
then decided to sort of restore it. I was
hoping to get to it now as I spent all
summer working on my roof. I need to put the
tires back on the rims, rebuild the seat,
and put the fenders on. It's just a NF
tractor, and we like our WFE tractors. I was
gonna keep it, but we already have 2 66 WF
tractors, a S66, and a 660 WF, so we don't
really need another 66 around. As much as
I'd like to keep it, it'd never get used.
Just like the 77s, we have 2 77's, a S77WF,
And 2 770s, so one of the 77s and a 770 will
be going as well. Once I get some wood cut
ahead, and get the rest of the crops out,
I'll be back after the 66 and finish it up.
I just hadn't seen any sell for a while, so
I was wondering what a realistic price would
be now days.

This was an Estate. The owner Passed about 5 years ago, so that's how long the tractors sat. They were older restorations. Not perfect paint jobs, but they were respectable show tractors. The 16-30 was very nice...one of the nicest I've seen. They would all need to have the fuel systems cleaned. None had new tires. I personally thought that some prices were indeed light. The Auctioneers did not spend a lot of time and resources advertising and presenting them. But...that worked in favor of the buyers.
