Naw,I need a back window, but it doesn't look like it ever had one. lol

I went over to Ashley a month or so ago to see if they still had that cab. They said it was either out by the sheet metal pile or under it. Must have been under it. I didn't see a trace. The 525 and 2890 combines were pushed up in the pile, but no trace of the White cab.

I'll take a look where it used to be next time I run over there, if it still has a window in it, all take it out. If I can find it lol.

I looked all over for it. They said they were cleaning up that pile the next week and if they found it with that window intact, they'd call me.

I called on that 2-105. Got to thinking about putting that front axle under my 1600 with the loader. The guy I talked to didn't know what they had to have for it,said he'd have to ask his dad. I think I'll run over and look at it tomorrow. I'll let you know if I get anything off it.

Shoot me an email would you? Mine isn't shattered or gone, but the discbine threw a small stone and put a pretty good peck in it and it spider webbed out from there to every corner of it.

If flying stones are a constant problem, you might consider using a sheet of 1/4 or 3/8 inch thick polycarbonate instead of safety glass in the rear window. Polycarbonate is the generic form of GE's Lexan plastic, the bullet-proof glass used in banks and gas stations. The material can be cut, drilled or tapped like wood, and can be "welded" with the right adhesive. Most glass shops should be able to make one for you, but you can probably make a window yourself. McMaster-Carr is one source for sheets.

I went and looked at it. I hoped the grill was OK,but it's smashed in pretty flat. He offered me a pretty good deal on the front axle. I was going to start taking it off,but it just didn't look quite right. It's got the welded flat stock brace that's welded to the tube instead of the round one with the big nuts on the front. My 2-135 has one like that. It just looked way shorter between the front mount and the brace mount, than the one on the 1600. I measured it and came back home and measured the one on the 1600. I guess it'll fit,but looks sure can be deceiving. I told him I'd be back in the morning and finish taking it out.
Should make a heck of a nice heavy axle for a loader tractor anyway. It's set in a lot narrower than the one that's under the 1600 now and that's what I wanted.
