Some time ago I posted a couple of messages about all the electrical problems that I was having with my tractor. A short in the system, batteries draining all the time, etc.
A neighbor up the road, who also has Olivers, came over and looked at it and found the problem. The amp meter on the dash was shorting out and causing the problems. He also had to put on
a small jumper wire on the alternator so that the batteries would actually charge up while running. Who would think to look at a gauge itself shorting out? Problem fixed and I am enjoying
using the tractor more now.
