central ny had major drought so am putting grassy hay into ag bag. oliver 1650 on 8 ft kelly ryan ag bagger. with hydraulic cooler in front of rad have no problems with oil getting hot unlike some other tractors. oliver 77 with hand pto works great to feather conveyor when unloading cross conveyor chain. i use lamco wagons cause cheap. i bought 14 ft 2 beater no running gear for $100. put in 3 rd beater and beefed it up and added roof. first wagon with extension, a wonderful thing. plan to put clutch and year-around cab on 1650 chore tractor. 77 have to fix hydraulic pump and put on 3 pt hitch that was giving to me. plan to use it for cultivating.

Looks good. By the looks of the tractors running round here those would be hidden behind a set of their tires. I can't believe how big they've gotten or spending that much just to pull a wagon around. The only thing missing on them is wings and flight attendants.

I have seen a few Olivers out, makes me smile.

Good to see some Kelly Ryan equipment out that far east. I live a couple an hour or so away from the plant.

I wish those darned Kelly Ryan elevators wouldn't have made it to our area of the Mn/SD border. You had to put hay bales into them at a slant and then sometimes the bale would slide down when it was half way up into the barn and hopefully the next one would push it up. I was to the plant in Blair once to get a feeder wagon. They told me if the workers built a hundred elevators (I assume in a week) Kelly would buy them a keg of beer.

Tried my 1600 on a bagger once 8 years ago, smoked the pto clutch. Our Massey 285 would do it if it had to, but really didn't like it. We would rent an IH 986 from a company across the road and put it on the bagger, but once in a while we'd have other tractor issues with the 18 and we needed the 1000 rpm on the IH to run that.
