Oliver 1550 industrial - hydraulic filter

The last owner had a Napa #1006 in it but I am not sure it's the right filter. Does anyone know for sure what filter this takes?? I should have my manuals tomorrow but would appreciate the help!

NAPA 1781. It's a closed end filter. If you have the original open-ended filter you don't need the retainer with the new one.

I ordered a 1781 and went down to pick it up and didn't see how that could work with the closed end seeing how a bolt has to go through the middle of the cannister to fasten to the housing.

Sorry. I overlooked the fact that you have a loader/backhoe. 1781 is for the hyd. lift and remotes.

I got the original part number for the filter and have some wix filters coming in on monday.
