Lubbock Gasket will make a head gasket for any engine.
I have some new old stock Oliver/Cockshutt gaskets. I will try to look next couple days and see if I have one. Let me know if you are still looking. [email protected]
Anyone with "New Old Stock" sound as if he may have experience with Cockshutt Tractors.
I have a 1250 Gas. Beautiful tractor. Bought it 15 years ago at an auction for $5000 - with Loader from the original owner. 2000 hrs.
This tractor has always suffered from a "bouncing" 3 point hitch. The hydraulics are strong enough to lift anything, but in any "lifted" position, the implement will start to bounce. The more weight, the more the bounce. Have had the hydraulic unit (under the seat) off and apart several times. No apparent damage to any of the internals. Did notice one of the pressure relief valves (accessible on the outside of the unit) seemed to have been shimmed, almost like the problem existed long before I bought the tractor. Consulted my factory manual without any success. Any ideas will be appreciated.
