I have a pump off an 1836 hart parr that's stuck, what can I do to free it up. Thanks for any help. I have the top off, but have no idea what to do.

I just helped a friend rebuild his Maddison Kipp oiler for his 18-36. His was stuck also. After many days of soaking in a variety of penetrants, it
still wouldn't come loose. We finally dissasembled it, had to drive the pot metal or aluminum ecentrics off the shaft, they were cracked also. They
were also stuck inside of the brass ring that operates the pumps had to use a press to get them out. Gary Biewer in Barnesville Mn. has a new 19 piece
kit to rebuild those pumps for $225.00 + shipping for a total of $237.60. My email is open if you need more help or info.

I m having trouble with your e mail. Any way is that eccentric shaft one peice? I can turn the shaft next to the gear a quarter of a turn. That arm seems to be stuck on the shaft , should it be. Could that eccentric shaft be broke where that tapered pin goes?

That shaft only goes into the ratchet gear a short way, not all the way through.. The ratchet gear assembly is a piece all it's own. If you can drive
that tapered pin out. The shaft will exit away from the ratchet gear. Or give me a call at 5152306173
