4-175 or 4-180

They do not have a parking gear or a diff lock. A 4-180 has a floor shifter and a 2 speed manual hi-lo. The 4-175 has a console shifter and a hand brake for parking and hydraulic brakes. The 4-180 has manual brakes. The 4-175 has an O/U . The 4-180 uses basically a 2255 trans and rearend minus the O/U. The 4-175 uses a trans and rearends similar to a 2-105. The 4-175 has an updated cab and a much improved and stronger articulation joint. They both could use a little weight. I had a 4-175 for years switching the stock 34 inch tires and duals to radial 38s solved the traction problem. For diff lock and park lock you have to go up to a 4-210 or a 4-225.They are also heavier tractors. I currently run a 4-225.
