No wonder I don't have hydraulic pressure, Oliver 88

I posted a couple of weeks ago that I had zero pressure from my Oliver 88 Group 1 hydraulic system. I took out the pump tonight and found the centerplate, which I had replaced, is too tall. It stands ~1/4" proud of the gears. The centerplate is 1 3/8" thick and the gears 1 1/8". I know there are two different centerplates and I must have the wrong one. I feel foolish for not catching it the first time around. I think at this point I am going to adapt an external pump to the tractor, hiding it the best I can.

I think you have the correct center plate, but you have the wrong gears. Sounds like you may have gears from a 66 series.
