This Cockshutt sold a few days ago for 7000 Canadian dollars, complete, ran well, in original condition, easily outselling several other Cockshutts in much nicer shape. Why? Someone wouldn't 'clone'it into a Golden Arrow, would they? Ben

That tractor was and actually is a golden arrow. It was all original except the alternator and some one had put 35 del sheet metal on it. ser # was 16098 built as an arrow. That was a good price for it in my opinion and may have brought more here in the states. The auctioneer and most every one there did not know anything about it. Just a hand full of us who were biding on it. As my luck would have it just to much money for me but the new owner is thrilled to death. Just my two cents. Irv

What did you think of the rest of the sale? Lot of cheap horsepower in my opinion. We should a got together for a coffee and got out of the rain for a bit! Ben

as for the Cockshutt the Canadians proved they love their tractors as they all brought top dollar. A lot of nice IH some went way cheap others right on the money and some went high. I guess you would call it a typical sale. Except the rain I enjoyed it saw a few friends, met a few new ones all and all ok. Coffee would have been good. Irv
