Still having issues with raising and lowering the wings on the bushhog. The cylinders 'lock up' when extended or retracted all the way, ie: bottomed out. If I loosen the fittings at the cylinder/ hose connection and let the pressure off, you can "feather" the raise/ lower lever and they will raise or lower provided you don't extend/ retract all the way. If you do the hoses just 'jump', like the cylinders are locked. Last weekend I put new cylinders and 1/2 inch hoses on both wings.........same thing! I can hook the planter or 7 ft. Cutter to the tractor and they raise/ lower fine. I put new male tips on the hoses (pioneer) but still have the what appears to be, the original female couplings on the tractor. Could there be some sort of pressure/ detent issue with the control valve? Then again, all worked OK on the planter and 7 ft. Cutter.
