what's missing here?

How do the angled screws in the side panels fasten to the cast support? One tapped hole has a broken screw in it. Is there some bracket missing? I can't find anything in the parts book. First picture, right side, the screw is bent. Left side is straight.

There's a bent pressed steel piece with a slot in it that bolts on there. That bolt just slides in to the slot with the nut on it and you tighten it up. The ones with the three piece side panels don't have that piece on them,so you might be on the wrong page of the parts book.

Thanks Randy. My book has only one page with the hood and grills. It shows several hoods but only one left and right side panel. The screw and nut are called out but no bracket. The bracket isn't on the page with the support either. I can make a pair.

what's missing here?
