latest restoration and show

Hey everyone we have had our show recently and we featured Oliver and the Iowa Corn-belt chapter. We were busy getting stuff ready this year. We sent 13 tractors and 11 pieces of equipment. The 2255 was finished hours before the show. We got in North Carolina and they got it from Michigan. It didn?t have a motor so we had to do some shopping for parts. The 77 and 18 combine were quite the show stopper this year. The 77 was one of those projects that always were pushed aside for later. we acquired the 18 combine a while ago and wanted it done for the show. We are the second owners of this combine and apparently it was the 9th one built. If you attended our show on Sunday we combined the oats and it was the first time this combine has seen product in almost 50 years. The last one is my 1755. I purchased it from Canada and according the serial number it was the 9th to last 1755 ever built so it is a last day tractor. The videos are from the show but not mine. The drone footage is from Sunday and the other is of our 2255 on the dyno.

Boy that brings back memories. I hauled a lot of oats away from a combine like that pulled by a 770 and later a 2-70. Is that a #18?

first thought that 2255 was best of show till I saw the 1755. What a nice machine. I didn't think Oliver made a 4x4 till the 2000 series tractors.

What RPM are you turning the 2255 and was that the original engine, if not what was the application before? Are those draper pick up headers common there?

the tractor is turning 26-2800 rpm, no it is not the original engine but it is the same as what came out. the 2255 is a late 74 so it had the 3208 cat engine in it we just adjusted how much fuel goes in. with the 18 combine i don't know if they are common. the pick up was an option for the 18 combine but of the pictures and videos i have seen of 18 combines are combine is the only one i know of that has this option.

That is a beautiful 2255. I was there and it was a pleasure watching it on the dyno. I was surprised how well it pulled. I seriously kept wondering if the dyno was even cranked down or not. Thanks for bringing all the equipment!
