Will an 88 ring pinion interchange with a Super?

I was wondering if the 88 & Super 88 ring and pinion assembly will interchange with each other. Of course keeping matched sets of gears.

So I would have to unbolt the ring gears from the carrier housing and just swap the gear and keep the same carrier pretty much. Correct?
How big of a deal is it to swap ring and pinions?

They are probably riveted to the carrier if original. There was a bolt conversion available at one time.

Drill the rivets and swap crown gears, should be done anyways and replaced with bolts, it's a fair job but doable

any special bolts or just grade 8?
