I saw a few 50 and 55 series MFWD row crops. A nice 77 diesel that ran REAL Smooth. A nice 2255. I was disappointed there was not a 1550 row crop there but the local AGCO dealer brought his newly acquired 1550 utility and his 1555 gas row crop. I saw a pretty good 1850 in work clothes with a over/under hyraul shift. I was itching to make a deal on some literature and a sales price book but was not in a spending mood. I did my darndest to memorize a few prices. A 5100 6 row 30 inch planter before fertilizer was around 11,350 dollars in 1986. Add about 1955 dollars for a dry fertilizer set up. Speaking of 1955 I did not see any 1955 tractors there.

It was a hot day but the rain held off all morning. There was a pretty good selection of Olivers there, most wearing their work clothes. Lots of literature. A couple of White Americans, the 1755 MFWD was pretty nice. It was good to see all of the vendors such as Korves. Everybody in the Oliver barn was very friendly. I think there was a 1900 industrial, I meant to take a closer look at that. I bought a belt buckle with a 1650 on it.

Yeah, I was pretty exhausted from the heat by the time I made this thread. I think that I saw the 1900 industrial. I had a half dozen wants from the literature table but I just was not willing to part with the money needed to buy the pieces. The price book from 1986 was in very nice condition but my budget was 20-25 dollars on that so we were just too far apart. I'll keep watching for something online as I do not need one in perfect condition. I think that somethings were already gone this morning as the banquet for the Oliver exhibitors was Friday evening.

It was a hot day alright, car thermometer said 91 when we got there. When we farmed in Wi we had an Oliver 1950 and the fellow around the corner about a mile away had one too. My son loved to make it bellow. Lyle and Helen Dumont, long way from NY to Iowa, were there and I think Zimmerman was there too.

Yes, thank you Dave. My camera on my phone does not work so it was not possible for me to take any pictures. Hopefully, somebody can add on with more.

My son lives among the Mennonites in central Wisconsin who use steel wheel tractors. He has a picture of an articulated white with steel wheels, but I don't know how to get it over here.

There are a few articulated Deere 8XX0 tractors on steel here in the Finger Lakes over by Penn Yan and Rushville.

I was dis appointed in the show. The top tractors there were the 1650 gas with hydraulic front wheel assist, the 1755 with front wheel assist the 500 diesel, I did not see the 1950. The only GM powered tractor I saw was the 1900 industrial which has the wrong decals as it is an early 1960 A series. The 500 diesel and the Fiat with front wheel assist and the Super 99 gas tractor. I thought there would be more crawlers as well.

I hate to say it but age is getting to be an issue for quite a few exhibitors. While there are some young guys getting in there is not close to enough to replace the elder statesmen so to speak. Then there are guys like me who would love to do it but most likely will never have the financial means to do so. I was depressed about that today before I jumped in tonight on this board.

Funny you mention not seeing a 1550 Row Crop - I am restoring one now and really hoping to have it there next year.
