Oliver 2050

I have just purchased an Oliver 2050 which I plan to restore, anyone know where I may find some straight side panels? Mine look to be made from gauze and I don't think they are original. The tractor starts well and sounds good, clutch and gears including the hydro shift all seem to be good.

As for the hydraulics, I have never seen such an abortion before! There is a front mounted pump driven from the crank with lines coupled straight into the bank end. I am now wondering if this was an attempt to bypass the tractors own circuit? The seller told me the 3 pt hitch didn't work, the arms are chained up but I don't believe there are any hydraulics working although the power steering is very good.

I had to purchase her sight unseen and as she is very different to my 1655 and 1850 I am a little lost at present.

I don't have a parts book yet so can't make out where these lines are plumbed in. Is there any way to post photos on this forum? or I can e-mail photos direct if anyone can offer any advice.

Thanks.

Which ones do you need, the long ones that go along the hood or the front ones that cover the side of the radiator?

I was looking for both, although I have now been told that my panels were original to solve some airflow problems. Do you know of any? Thanks.

Now I find out that the extra hydraulic pump on the front was supplying all her hydraulic power, at least the power steering and one extra service. I now have to find the original internal hydraulic pump, guess I have to lift the top of the back end?

Our 2150 came with the solid ones only to have the dealer come out and replace them with the mesh type ones. The mesh ones were not as strong as the solid ones. It was done to relieve a heat buildup around the engine.
