I have 4 good pistons and sleeves from a 77. Does anyone know if they will work in my 66 that is froze? My book said they're the same bore and stroke but they don't look the same with a quick measurement.

Thanks. Maybe I will pull the pan tomorrow and see how the bottom end looks and try to get the sleeve and pistons out.

I got the sleeves out of the 66. The bore is bigger. Will I need to do some head work or carb to make it run right?
Any suggestions on how to clean up crank on an in frame?

FYI for you> The 66 & 77 use a lot of interchangeable parts as the 66 is a 4 cylinder version of the 77.Why don't you tell us the size of the 2 sets of sleeves & pistons you have? How or what are you going to use the 2 tractors for? I would take the engine out.

I will have to go take some measurements. I reabuilt a 77 engine and have some parts left over. Thought I would piece this one together. I don't really plan on using it. Just want to make it run for now.
