Looking for: Oliver 77 Row Crop 12 Volt Conversion

I have a 1953 Oliver 77 that currently has the 6 volt starting system.
I am looking to convert it over to 12 volt for ease of starting!
Do you guys know of anyone who makes a kit that DOES NOT require you to cut through the side shield?
A kit with every thing needed would be great!
Thank you for your time!

A small alternator will fit without cutting the side panel, or to make it real simple, just replace the six volt generator with a twelve volt.

I have a 1950 Oliver 77 that has a delco 10SI on it and the side curtains fit with no problems.

I've got a 12 volt generator on my 77 and 66 both. The Oliver diesels used a 12 volt gen right from the start, then the gassers used them from 57 right up to the mid 60s when they went to alternators. They'll bolt right to the original brackets and the wiring will hook right up to the 12 volt regulator with no modifications.

I use a mini alternator by chevy . it works great and is easily installed along with solid state ingnition sold on this site . was worth every dime .
