The batteries were shot on the 2-70 I just bought. Last weekend I took them out and didn't note how the cables were connected. Now I'm trying to figure it out. I have a picture of what the former owner wrote under the righthand battery plate. So, how do I hook up the cables on the lefthand side? The picture in the owner's manual is kind of confusing, also.
1st picture: The right plate cover.
2nd picture: How the battery looks if I hook it up like the plate cover says. Looks like reverse polarity to me.
3rd picture: The left battery--how do I hook it up?
