After inspecting the roosa master injection pump through the 2 screw side plate and replacing the plate, it is steadily leaking. When removed, it had some type of plastic gasket and was very hard and brittle. Can someone tell me where I can purchase a replacement or is their a material to make one from? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Those gaskets are soft when they are new. Any diesel shop that services a Roosa Master pump will have them. Many implement dealers will also stock them separately.

Thanks for your help, Just found them online but had to order the complete gasket set (rebuild gasket set), may need the other gaskets in the future or someone else may need them.
Thanks for your help, I hope to get this ole gal started soon, as of now, I can't locate a valve cover gasket to check if any valves are stuck (cast iron valve cover). The engine turns over nicely and can tell when on compression stroke, I just don't know what kind of damage would happen if engine started with stuck valves, pocket book is thin being retired. Any and all info is greatly appreciated.

A.J. Boellner. Inc in Maumee Ohio, now a Ford New Holland dealer was once an Oliver dealer, some of those people still
work there. They seem to have everything as if Oliver was still being produced today. They also seem to have a very good
referencing system, as long as you know what you have they find the exact part for it.

Thanks Gary66, I'll try to find their telephone number and give them a call. Thanks for your help and quick reply.

John Deere tractors and combines used the Roosa Master pump for a long time.  Gasket you need is the same as the JD engines used.   your local JD dealer.

(quoted from post at 06:18:03 07/21/16) A.J. Boellner. Inc in Maumee Ohio had the gasket and is on the way, now I'll be one step closer to seeing if this ole gal will come to life (after checking the valves). Thank you for sending me to them, they'll be on top of my list for future parts. Thanks for your help.

I've always wondered if you maybe one of the guys there. :) They are so pleasant to work with. Their passion for Olivers has brought a smile to my face often.

They earned the good word of mouth. The parts counter is probably still the same as it was when they were an oliver dealer, right down to the smell of it. :)
