Always have a hard time hooking up hyd couplers on 1650 oliver. It has 8250 pioneer female coupler on tractor and matching pioneer male tip on equipment. Just seems to be a pain to hook up. Is there a better pioneer female coupler or is this the way they are. If there is pressure on equipment side it is about impossible to hook up. thanks

8250 is pioneer top of the line. always best to take pressure off couplers, if you need the imp in the raised position, measure and cut a piece of heavy angle and lay it on cylinder rod and let the imp down on angle, makes it much easier, also if the couplers are tight, try pushing the couplers in first, seems to take some pressure off

All of the Olivers are always under pressure, moving the levers with the engine off does nothing. I had 8250 couplers on my 1850's and finally bought lever release couplers for both of them and they are MUCH better. Lower the implement to the ground or pin them up and wiggle the lever while running to get the cylinder loose on the pins will help some. Chris
