On my gas 1550 the one remote has hydraulic power in both directions or coming out of each line thats the same,on the other remote there is hydraulic pressure on the
one side but almost no pressure on the other line.Is there something wrong with the 2nd remote or can they be set up to run single acting cylinders?

my 1850 has several ports the lines can be attached to, I'm sure they have specific uses and must be hooked up to the right ones. If yours did work and now don't rule out the wrong port. If it's supposed to send fluid and isn't I'd start at the coupler and work back. I don't think the unit is single and double acting, one or the other.

Lets say there is a blockage, I would if the simplest is ruled out and before tearing it down blow air into it from the coupler and try and free it. If that didn't work I'd try to flush it with kerosene.

They can be set up to run a one-way cylinder. Don't know if yours is set up that way, you'll have to look and see. The adjustment for it is a 1/2" fine thread bolt with a lock nut on the right side of the hydraulic housing, behind your right heel. The four digit owner's manuals say the bolt should be backed out 5 or 6 turns before using a one-way cylinder. Also says it should be screwed all the way in for "proper automatic draft control." (Three point hitch). Check and see if that applies to your tractor.

My previous post was in regard to the Bypass Valve Adjustment. I should also have noted that the manuals also says: "Two interlock bleed screws, located directly opposite each other in control housing, must be turned in completely for double-acting cylinder applications. If a sing-acting cylinder is to be connected to unit, turn bleed screw on that side of unit counterclockwise three full turns. Always loosen sealing nut before adjusting bleed screw." Another thing to check.

Saunders is right, check the bleed screw. I just got mine working and set up right remote for single acting to run my MoCo. The bypass valve should be closed for double acting and 3-point work. If you want one double and one single, the right side must be the single.
