I have an extra roosa master db 633 that I took the top off to see if I could get to the spring screw to increase fuel delivery. I could not get to it due to the governor spring assembly? How is this accomplished? I have a 1655 with a 310 that i would like to increase the fuel a bit.

On some pumps the guide stud and governor spring need moved out of the way to get the allen wrench in place. Depending on what leaf spring is in the pump now you may not gain much. DON'T tighten it clear down and leave it there, back it off a bit to help prevent screw head or the leaf spring breaking. Did you back out the torque screw first if it has one?

No sir I didn't ? Where is the torque screw located ? I think I should probably leave it be. The db 633 I tried it on is off the original 283 out of my 1655 and has been rebuilt. What would you charge to freshen it up and turn that screw in some more for me? Thanks in advance.
