Oliver 550 leaking oil

I have a 550 and yesterday morning I was going to mow some. Started the tractor and drove down to the house and noticed that there was oil pouring underneath it. Took it back up to the shed and noticed it was pumping or pouring out of this hole on the side by where the brake pedals are. I figured a plug had come out so I went and bought an 1/8th and 1/4 pipe plug. One is too small and the other is too big. I am assuming this was hydraulic oil but I need to know what threads into this hole to stop it up and what it is there for.

I appreciate any info :)

I tried but it wouldn't post for some reason. I'll keep trying. It's a threaded hole right where the brake pedals are. I figured it was just a pipe plug or something but its not.

try this

Try a regular bolt thread fine or coarse. Ford 8N had a short bolt like that with a washer for a gasket that was in the base/side of the transmission. Had high pressure Hydraulic oil behind it. Used a special fitting to get external hydraulics.

I was wondering about that but wasn't sure. I should have some bolts at the shop, i'll get a few and try them.

If that little hole in the picture is where oil is coming out you have a bigger problem. Should not be any oil in there. Three places it may come from, trans, hydraulics, and engine.

Thats where its coming from. Not really what I was wanting to hear but I kinda figured it would be something more than just a plug missing. What does go in that hole though?

Looks like a cap screw that supports the floor board came out, as the board looks bent forward. No oil should be in that area, most likely a seal on the PTO clutch leaking, need to split and check both main clutch and rear engine seal as well as PTO seals and clutch while it is split.
