1650 loader

Neighbor's tractor I've been working on.
Loader will not operate correctly with hoses in correct ports. Pulling back on outside lever raises boom but pushing forward wont lower boom only keeps raising.Loader will operate if hoses are switched on that side but pulling lowers and pushing raises it.
I've put all new orings in interlock valves. Any suggestions?

Are the bleed screws and bypass valve closed?

Sounds to me like you have bad couplers. You are trying to move oil and the flow is blocked

Yes bleed and bypass screws are closed.

if you touched it it's possible you did something. You maybe able to figure out which is working by only attaching 1 line at a time. If they both do the same thing, it's probably something you did, if not maybe just some debris in the coupler. My couplers are difficult to couple. I don't like things that don't go together like I think they should and can see a problem there.
