looking to get the throttle shaft needle bearings for a Marvel Schebler USX-44 and possibly the tool to remove and install. Anyone know where I would be able to find these?

I did one about a year ago for an 1850 and had no problem obtaining the bearings, but I may have gotten them from John Deere. I have one of the little installer tools-not for sale. You have a lathe? It would be easy to make.

I don't have a lathe, but I have access to a very nice machine shop that can make any tool I need. All they need is a drawing with measurements. I will check first with Maibach and then my John Deere dealer. Thanks for the info

Mr. Schwiebert, I checked with Maibach and they can get me the needle bearings but not the tool. If you could send me a drawing of the took, I can have it made.

thanks

I'm going to guess that it's a piece of rod that has an od just smaller than the bearing, with a pilot that goes inside the bearing to keep it snug. Shouldn't be too hard to make up.
