1650 Gas Head Question

Yes, but you will need to plug some coolant holes. Get a head gasket and lay it on the block and see where the problem holes are.

better calculate the compression ratio, your going to need better gas to run it, 1650 has a smaller chamber with a dished piston

Years ago I knew where there was a 1600 gas which had 3-3/4 flat top pistons from a 1600 diesel installed. They put 2 head gaskets together to keep it from spar knocking! You want to increase bore size another 3/8 inch. You better cc everything and see where you are at!

go with a 99 head it will flow alot more com. isnt everything, get high com piston with a99 head and you will be alot better off,is what i would do
