Oliver 1800 tilt steering

Does anyone have a breakdown of the tilt steering column regarding this tractor. The foot level that you push to activate the tilt is not working (I can move it up and down but acts like its not connected to anything). I would think there has to be some linkage in there that either has broken or fallen off...any help would be appreciated. thanks

There's just a little L shaped rod type linkage the bends through that foot pedal,has a cotter pin in it,then it threads in to a spring loaded "plunger" that pulls out and in to a hole in the steering hydramotor. Most likely that linkage broke at the bend. Wouldn't be the first time it happened. It's a bear to get to unless you take the fuel tank out,but with it out,it's right there and easy to fix.
