paint color

I'm not really an Oliver guy, but I need some advise for a friend who is restoring a family tractor. It's a 1957 Oliver Super 77 Diesel. What is the correct color for the rims and wheels? Thanks for the help.

The tractor as it came down the assembly line had the wheel hubs installed as it went through the paint booth, so they are green.   Front wheels are painted red on your 57 production.   Assuming that you have the standard equipment cast iron center rear wheel and demountable rim, they are both painted red, this includes the wheel to rim clamp.   The wheel to rim clamp bolts were natural non-painted.

Should you have power adjust rear wheels, if memory serves me correctly, I believe the rim and rail assembly are silver.

It is not easy to find new square head bolts and the large nuts that were on the wheel clamps, plus expensive.   I have found a Rust-Oleum product in their professional spray can (rattle can) in Stainless steel color that look real good on used bolts.
