12.4 X 36 Tire

I bought a parts tractor that had one brand new Firestone 12.4 X 36 tire that I don't need. What Oliver tractors used that size tire?

The only Oliver that used a 36" tire was the model 70. and that was only for a short time in the
late 1930's and early 1940's.

That is true. The early 60 RC used 7X36 8X36 or 9X36 tires.

However, the subject was 12.4X36 tires, and the early 70 styled Row Crop tractor was the only Oliver that had that size tire as an option.

This tire would only be one size oversize and on a 60 that was not used for heavy pulling would have been a good chioce and possible only choice as i know a 11.2 that would have been a replacement for a 10 would have been very hard to find and I dont think there were tires made to compair to the 7, 8 or 9 sizes.

I have a friend that has an early Oliver 70 HP with 36's on it....He put them on new in the late 1970's..I've got a 1940 UTU MM with 13 x 36's..
