Can a White 2-135 pull a White 548 6 bottom

More info? Soil type? Hills? Sod or corn stalks, etc? I think that would be pushing it in heavy ground, especially sod. Just my opinion.

On my farm a 2-135 White would easily pull 6 x16's.....My 7040 AC had no problems at all...Go 10 miles north and 5 x16's would work them both to death...Its all about soil types...

Ya,soil type and topography will make all the difference in the world. I pull 4x18s with mine. On flat sandy loam,it would almost pull in road gear, but I plow down all my sod going back to corn in rotation and on some of these red clay hills,I'm right down in third underdrive and she really talks.

Also I forgot to add the owner of the plow (my neighbor) pulled it with a ford 9600. He use to farm our farm and he said it would pull easy. Also my 1855 a can pull 4x18s in forth overdrive in sod.

Does the plow have one beam all the way back? One time I had a plow like that the 5th and 6th bottom had a short beam you could detach and make a four or five bottom plow. It worked good.
Not to steal the OP, but one time we bought a 6 bottom plow of another make. My father wanted to take a torch and make it a four bottom. One day I came home and he was welding the tail wheel back on the plow. After getting the side draft right, it worked good.
Our ground has a lot of heavy clay and hills. My 1-135 throws a better furrow with 4-18s.

If this plow belonged to my neighbor I would go hook it up and give it a try , I can't see any harm in making a round with it , then you will have your answer .

We had a neighbor with an Allis 190XTD that he pulled 6-16s with in clay and/or loam soils. I gotta think a 2-135 should have no problem with it.

I would think if you can pull 4 18's in forth gear with an 1855, you should be able to pull 6 18's in fourth with a 2-135. If a 9600 can handle the plow, I expect a 2-135 should handle easily also.

I would think you could pull it given what your 18 pulls. And like has been said, if it can have a bottom or 2 removed, even better.
