What type oil in hydra power?

What type oil you use in hydra power in 1555, my book says type A, is that still the same or is there something better, also hydraulics and trans/rearend?

Dexron is the new type A. I just use hydraulic oil in mine with no problems. As for hydraulics and rear end, universal hydraulic oil and 80W90 gear oil.

A's it, unless you're using it hard I wouldn't try an upgrade. I use 303 in the hydraulics. I always go synthetic, but it does clean things out and cause seals to be less sealing, my 1850 leaks enough.
