1650 telescopic steering ?

Hello, I am working on an 1650 Oliver with the Saginaw hydramotor steering. The telescopic part is stuck and before I get rough with it I need to know how it comes apart. I have rebuilt several of the char Lynn style telescoping style but never a Saginaw. Where do I start with this? Thanks.

Rebuilding the saginaw will be very difficult as parts are NLA. I'd replace it with the later charlynn.

I had a couple steering hoses seeping oil on my 2-135. Might be similar to yours but my hydraulic shop made the lines plus flare less fittings and I used the old steel lines on either end. Only difference being the ends didn't swivel like the originals but by checking the angles required to re-attach the lines it worked ok. Cost for two 18 rubber lines plus fittings $88 Cdn.
I would check out that way before ordering from the dealer. Good luck not easy to get them replaced but I managed without removing the fuel tank although it would have been easier without it in the way.
