2-85 at auction yard

Stopped at Tri Green Interstate auction just outside London, OH this morning to kill a few minutes (don't tell my boss). This 2-85 was there for sale. It looked very nice, and I couldn't believe how nice the interior was. Even had the same smell my Uncles 2-135 had when I drove it. Didn't hear it run, but I got a few pics if someone is interested. Wish I had a need for it! Grew up on MM's until the switch to White. Had a lot of time in the 2-135.

I tired to get a good pic of the hour meter, but I was using my iPad while I was talking on the phone...which wasn't the best way to take the pics!

Won't find em much nicer then that. I didn't see an air compressor on it, but most wouldn't work anyway. It even has the top link for the three point! I am always amazed at all tractors pictured or on auctions without the top link! What happens to them all?

I hadn't noticed the lack of AC. That's a darned shame. Mine has it. It's updated to 134a. I've used it to plant oats and haul manure for a few days. You could hang meat in that thing. With the temp control up about half way and the fan on low,it's about all you want. It sure gets a lot colder than the one in my 2-135.
