4-270 white transmission brake module

Does anyone know of a place that would sell these other than AGCO.. AGCO says its obsolete of course and no old stock anywhere. Must be someone that can still make on of these??

Are you talking about the parking brake, service brakes, or transmission brake? Any part numbers would help us understand what your are looking for.

The trans brake module is something White came out with as a fix for some of the issues they were having with the trans brake. It was a module that was tied into the speedo pick up to not allow the brake to come on if the tractor was moving. AS it came out originally the brake would come on as long as the trans was in neutral and the clutch was fully depressed. The problem was as soon as you pulled it out of neutral to put it in gear the brake would release and if you weren't fast going from neutral to your selected gear you would then grind trying to get it in gear. This module would allow the brake to stay on until you released the clutch. It is a sealed unit and I don't believe there are any schematics available to be able to rebuild it. The best option is to remove it and check the adjustment on the neutral switch. It may work okay for you then. Others have put a push button switch on the shift lever to engage the brake. Hopefully your brake is okay since to get at it you have to remove the powershift trans. and that is a job.
 
Thanks for the input everyone. Yes my brake still works fine .. When the module is working... So untill I can find someone to make up this module I'll Likly end up putting in a switch for it.. I just like to keep things original and working as they should. I tried Ag express and farmtronics up here and no luck :/ there's video on YouTube of it at work.. Sorry I'm bad at putting in links just search 4-270 on there and it'll come up.
