1650 cross talk between 3 point and remote?

I've never really used my 3-point until i brought home a 3-point cultivator yesterday. Noticed that as i drove the bucket started tilting down on the loader. It's almost like there is some cross communication between 3-point cylinder and RH remote. Make any sense? Probably should just rebuild the hydraulic unit on the tractor next winter, replace all seals and possibly pump.

The fluid flows through the left, then right remotes before it goes to the lift cylinder so the remotes will have priority. The remote valve could be leaking or sticking a little off-center. Possibly the centering spring is broken or weak. If you take the back cover off and work the levers you can see if the spools are not centering. DO NOT DO IT WITH ENGINE RUNNING!

I think to start with you need to check the amount of free travel on the 3 point. Do you have a book? Have you checked it? You have a phone number?

Starting to think this is worse that originally thought. My cell is 319-505-0595. I have a I&T manual here somewhere.

I have this same problem. I have inline shutoffs valves on both remotes and I am wondering if closing them will cause any problems when I use my 3 point.

I think it's a problem in the right remote valve. I bought a seal kit for the cylinders on my planter thinking they were bypassing since it would not hold in the raised position. Pulled it around to the shed to work on it last night and used the other remote and it doesn't have any problem staying raised. The I&T manual doesn't do a real good job (IMHO) of explaining repair procedures of the hydraulic valves, I may have to look for a factory service manual for it.
