What did oliver make a 770 with 4 forward gears and 4 reverse gears for? Is this a rare tractor? Just trying to get some history on it ive never seen one until today.

That is a multiple reverse transmission It was a factory option. What is the serial number of the tractor and the specification number?

Its a timken type transmission much like cockshutt. Dual range and can have options as to speeds.

are the parts from these road machines interchangeable with the ag tractors, could i put the reverser transmission in a 770 and would the PTO still function on the tractor?
